Vodafone Flying Fijians rugby fullback, Kini Murimurivalu is looking to cement his spot in the position for the upcoming international season.

The France-based flyer surprised many by being named as the starting fullback for the clash against the Maori All Blacks this weekend ahead of Metuisela Talebula.

“For the last few years, we haven’t had a quality fifteen so I think it is time I stand up and fight for this position. Nothing comes easy so we just have to fight hard for the position.”

Murimurivalu will be partner wingers, Nemani Nadolo and Benito Masilevu in an exciting back three for the home side.
