Local bowling sensation Litia Tikoisuva and Suren Prakash will take part in the champion vs champion tournament in Australia next month.

This was revealed to FBC Sports by Suva Bowling Club Secretary Diwan Chand.

For Tikoisuva getting everything right will be vital before the big tournament.

“For the last two weeks there hasn’t been any bowls due to bad weather but in terms of mental preparation i have been doing that and this is actually a good build up.”

Finding time to prepare and knowing the task of taking on the best around the world will not be easy, but Suren Prakash says he is ready.

“Well the preparation is going on very well and we have been training with senior bowlers here at Suva Bowling Club.”

Prakash and Litia qualified for this tournament after winning the National Singles title last year.
