Lions members visit Rugby academy

Two members of the British and Irish Lions team were part of the rugby clinic carried out by the Lelean Memorial School Academy at Bidesi Park this afternoon.

Prop Kyle Sinkler and winger Anthony Watson are here in the country for a break after their three test matches against the All Blacks.

Sinkler who started two tour matches and appeared off the bench in their Tests against the All Blacks says he was impressed by the talents shown by the students.

“It’s good to see the boys learning and asking questions and keep pm getting better. They got a huge amount of talents and physically they’re gifted and I’m sure a lot of them will come out here and become rugby stars in the coming years.”

Winger Anthony Watson was also happy to share his rugby knowledge to the youngsters.
