The Lami football side will be without its defender Manasa Levaci when it takes on Nasinu in its Vodafone Senior play-offs must win match on Saturday.

Lami coach Deepak Chand says despite the setback the team has been working around the clock to prepare for the crucial match.

“After our first loss we came back strongly against Savusavu where we took three points that was needed and we worked hard. We have also improved on the places where we lacked and everyone is cooperating coming to training and doing sessions. We will give good time to Nasinu come this Saturday.”

Lami lost to Nasinu in its opening match by a goal and then thumped Savusavu 5-nil in its home match.

The side has three points and needs to beat Nasinu to have any chance of qualifying to the Premier Division next year.

Lami faces Nasinu at 1pm at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori on Saturday.
