Lee not happy with his performance at Fiji International

Fiji’s hope Sam Lee says he was not happy with his performance in the last two days of the Fiji International which ended yesterday at the Natadola Bay Golf Course in Sigatoka.

Lee started on a high in the first two days and went down the board in the last two days.

He says the results were not at his favour.

“Not the day that I wanted and few disappointed mistakes and it wasn’t the same mentally compared to the first two days.”

Lee finished the tournament on 43rd position with over par 74.

He carded one birdie and three bogeys where he collected 290 points.

Meanwhile, Vijay Singh finished at 25th place with four-under par 68.

He carded two birdies and three bogeys with a total of 287 points.

India’s Gaganjeet Bhullar was crowned the new champion of the Fiji International after he notched an eagle on the 17th hole to drive himself to a one-shot victory.

Bhullar finished the final day with a six-under 66 and 14-under with a total of 274 points to give him his ninth win on the Asia tour.

He walked away with over one hundred and ninety seven thousand dollars prize money and the Fiji International Trophy.
