Former Samoa international Pat Lam says the Vodafone Flying Fijians shouldn’t be written off at the upcoming Rugby World Cup.

Fiji is pooled with former world champions Australia and England along with Wales and Uruguay in pool play.

It will be a do-or-die battle for the side to try and make the quarter-finals.

However, Lam says while Fiji has the toughest draw of the three Pacific Islands in 2015 but they’re a dangerous side to underestimate and he wouldn’t rule out them causing an upset.

Fiji plays England on September 19 at 7am.
