The Labasa football team remains wary of Ba as they look forward to playing the hosts at the Fiji FACT today.
Interim Secretary – Satishwar Chand says they remain confident of their chances and will not give Ba an easy game.
“We have sent 13 players from Labasa. Three are in Suva and they are Melvin Reddy, Sundeep Nair and Akuila Mateisuva. The records show that in every tournament that Ba and Labasa were pooled together, they were the two finalists so we want to maintain that trend that was there before”.
The Labasa–Ba match kicks off at 8.15pm.
Other matches will see Nadi face Savusavu at 3pm before taking on Rewa at 7pm.
Navua will battle Tavua 1.30pm, Suva takes on Lautoka 4.30pm, while Nadroga takes field against Navua at 5.45pm today.
