The Team Fiji women’s 7s rugby side defeated a spirited Cook Islands team 22-17 to win the bronze medal at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Samoa.

Australia took home the gold medal, defeating Canada in the final.

Team Fiji returns home tomorrow with two gold medals, two silver medals and two bronze medals.
