“The coach pressured us to do our best and because he knows what each player is capable of and thats the result, we are winners.”

Suva now leads Pool two with three points while Ba and Rewa earn a point each from the draw.

Suva will play Ba in their second match at eight tonight.

In other games, Rewa proved Ba wrong after holding them to a 1-all draw in their feature match yesterday.

The Men in Black’s goalkeeper Jone Ralulu was the man of the match as he denied Rewa’s James Naka from creating another upset of the day in the second half.

Meanwhile – Lautoka’s Simione Tamanisau was the key player in their match yesterday holding Nadroga down to a 2-1 win.

Lautoka and Navua are the first two teams from Pool One to score first up wins and earn three points each.
