With the 2019 Pacific Games in Samoa just around the corner, Badminton Fiji will need to think strategically when picking their final team.

This as injuries is one of their main concerns.

National Coach Brent Munday says their one week long competition in Samoa will be intense and they need to ensure they are putting together the best team as possible.

“Tough job in our hands to carry out our final selection for the Pacific Games and it’s hard to ensure that we get the team right so that we can come out with some medals at the Games.”

Badminton Fiji finished their competitions during the Fiji Games which was also their platform for selecting for the Pacific Games.

The Games will be held from the 7th to the 20th of July in Apia, Samoa.
