It is very hard to pick out the outright winner for tomorrow’s Melbourne Cup horse race.

Grant’s Betting Limited General Manager Peter McKoy says just like every year, this year’s race is building up to be an exciting one.

“Well there are four horses under double figures and outside that the prices are very wide. I’ve got to say it’s a difficult Cup as these horses are the best horses in the world so just pick your horse, put on what you can afford to lose and just enjoy the race.”

The final 24 horses have been named with Japanese Admire Rakti still carrying the favourites tag.

Other top bets are Protectionist , Lucia Valentina and Signoff.

The Melbourne Cup race will be held tomorrow at 5pm and you can watch it live on FBC TV.
