France through to the World Cup quarterfinal

France have qualified for the FIFA World Cup quarter-final after a 4-3 defeat over Argentina.

Kylian Mbappe scored twice in a game that put everyone on the edge of the seat.
Antoine Griezmann, Benjamin Pavard scored the other two goals for the side in the last 16 round of the World Cup.

The19-year-old Mbappe has become the first teenager to score two in a World Cup match since Pele netted twice for Brazil against Sweden in the 1958 final.

Argentina’s Angel di Maria, Gabriel Mercado and Sergio Aguero scored for the side.

France will play the winner of the match between Uruguay and Portugal in the quarterfinal.
