A 47-year-old man passed away during the 60th Sanatan Convention Soccer tournament yesterday in Maro/Tuva, Sigatoka.

Sanatan Dharam Sports wing President and Korovuto Branch President, Praveen Singh says Manoj Kumar who plays for Korovuto Masters was physically fit before and after the game.

Singh says Kumar was alleged to have drank water after the match and suffered a heart attack.

Kumar was rushed to the Nadi Hospital where his condition was stabilized before he had the second attack an hour later which led to his death.
