Suva Football President Ritesh Pratap says losing three key players ahead of the Vodafone Fiji FACT semifinal will not affect their campaign.

Pratap says the Suva football management had to make the tough decisions for the betterment of the team.

This after key players Laisenia Raura, Christopher Wasasala and Vilitati Kautoga were dropped from the side.

Raura and Wasasala broke camp and are believed to have gone on a drinking spree, while Kautoga failed to join camp after the first round ended last weekend.

Pratap believes they have made the right decision.

‘I think it is a good example to other districts we don’t worry if we win Fiji FACT or not the main thing is we have to draw a line somewhere that is an example to others if they do something wrong they will face the consequences’

Meanwhile, Nadi will meet Lautoka in the first Fiji ACT semi-final at 1.30pm on Saturday before Ba plays Suva at 3.30pm in the second semi-final.

The final will be played at 3pm on Sunday.

All matches will be played at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.
