Roy Krishna’s parents are over the moon about their middle child’s football achievements.
Bal and Sarita Krishna still remember when he started playing the game.

Roy started playing soccer from Primary School, his dad Bal Krishna still remembers when his son who was then in year 5 got his first soccer boots.
“He was very proud. He came back with a pair of boot, he that pair of boot and placed it on the bed where he sleeps and he use to sleep with the boot. He was very very happy. After going to play overseas, he now has plenty of soccer boots.”
Roy Krishna’s professional football career kicked off in 2008 when he joined Waitakare United.
With his parent’s blessings, he continues to make a name for himself, making it big on the international scene.
“In overseas countries like in Australia and New Zealand, he’s one of the Fijian to get such an award we should be proud parents. We thank the Lord for that one.”
Krishna’s win at the Dolan Warren Awards has made his parents even more proud of his achievements.
