The Fiji Football Association and its officials will keep a close watch on players’ performance during the Vodafone Futsal Inter-district Competition next weekend.
This is to ensure that the outstanding players from the tournament will represent Fiji to the OFC Futsal Nations Cup in Noumea, New Caledonia.
“So I think it’s a really timely in history here in Fiji that we see this extended commitment to the development of the game. I applaud the Policy to allow players to play both forms of the game, 11 and five-a-side, big shocker as well when it comes back.”

Oceania Football Confederation instructor Paul Toohey says this year is timely for Fiji in terms of Futsal development.
