FNRL calls for competition commitment

The Fiji National Rugby League is calling on all teams participating in the Vodafone Cup challenge to stay committed to the sport.

This follows the postponement of three zonal competitions in Sigatoka, Lautoka and Ra.

FNRL development officer, Sale Tubuna says assurance and dedications from all teams is needed in order to move the sport forward.

“We are putting in commitment with our own staff and with the development work being done in the rural areas so we expect their commitment too. Their committment means we can complete the competition and improve levels of play."

The Vodafone Cup challenge heads into its ninth round this weekend.
