Flying Fijians undergo tough training

The Vodafone Flying Fijians rugby side held a tough two-hour session this morning in Suva as the build-up to the one-off Test against Italy continues.

Coach John McKee worked with his players on mostly the ruck situations together with defensive plays.

Skipper Akapusi Qera says he has been impressed with the input of his players since the side marched into camp.

The backrower adds despite having a few new players in the set-up, all the reps were stepping up and putting their hands up for selection.

Currently there are 24 players in camp, with a number of overseas-based players to join after their club commitments end this weekend.

Fiji plays Italy on Saturday week at 3pm at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
