The Telecom Fijiana sevens team arrived in the country this morning after finished fifth in the final round of the season in Clermont-Ferrand to leapfrog Russia into fourth place overall on the final standings.

The Fiji women’s team have secured their highest ever finish on the World Series.

Fiji tied with Russia on 66 points for the season, but prevailed on a tie-breaker to earn their first ever top four finish.

The Fijiana also sealed their berth at next year’s Sevens World Cup in San Francisco, while Raijieli Daveua was named Rookie of the Year.
