The Fiji swimming extended squad have continued its preparation as they are aware of the tough competition ahead of the Oceania competition.

With the management yet to name the final squad, Coach Sharon Pickering says the young side will need to prove themselves to make the final cut.

“The preparation continues the final team will be selected after the schools championship which is happening this weekend they will also be selecting a team for Pam Packs junior which is also happening in Fiji at the end of August so the selectors have a big job in trying to select a team after the schools championship.”

Team Fiji will compete in the Oceania Championship from the 25th to the 29th of next month at Papua New Guinea.
