Fiji lost first two matches of Touch World Cup

The Fiji Open Mixed Touch Rugby team lost its first match 5-7 to Wales in the 2019 Touch World Cup in Malaysia.

It was a tough match between the two sides with the Welsh leading the race with only a point difference.

Fiji showed consistency in their performance, but was outclassed by Wales in the last minute.

They were then thrashed by Papua New Guinea, suffering a 7-2 loss in its second match yesterday.

They are targeting a first victory on day two of the tournament.
