The Fiji Airways national 7s mens side finished 6th in the Sydney tournament after being thumped by New Zealand in the play-off final by 31-7.

The Gareth Baber coached side were no match to a smart looking All Blacks, who had Vilimoni Koroi and Luke Masirewa playing for them.

All Black veteran, Tim Mikkelson says it was a sweet revenge for his side, after losing to the Fijians in the pool games by 19-17.

“Really we just wanted to take something in to next week in Hamilton. They beat us in the last hooter so we were looking forward to giving one back.”

Meanwhile, Amenoni Nasilasila is currently leading the DHL Performance Tacker, ahead of South African speedster Seabelo Senatla.
