Fiji Football Association President Rajesh Patel says they will hold a big reception for Fiji’s Golden Boy Roy Krishna when he arrives in the country next month.

As the only Fijian that has ever made it to an A-League club, Patel says Krishna is setting the bar high for local footballers.

“But as far as Fiji Football is concerned, we will definitely receive him and give him a big reception and everything for his award and achievement and this is what the football fraternity at large would love to see their future players also achieving this”.

Patel says the Fiji Football fraternity has set its target to elevating the standard of the sport in the country to produce more international players.

Krishna won the Johnny Warren medal for being the Best Player of the Season in the A-League and also the Golden Boot.
