Fiji drawn in tough pool for Nations Cup

The Vodafone Fiji football side has been drawn in a tough pool for the Oceania Football Confederations Nations Cup.

Fiji will face four time winners New Zealand, and Pacific giants Solomon Island Islands and Vanuatu in Group B of the competition.

Group A has defending champions Tahiti, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia and Samoa.

The OFC Nations Cup will also act as Stage 2 of Oceania’s 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Qualifiers.

The top three teams from each pool will qualify to the stage three of the qualifiers.

The tournament will be held in Papua New Guinea from the 28th of May to the 11th of June next year.
