The Fiji Car Club is bracing for another huge turnout at the Lincoln Refrigeration quarter mile and drag wars this weekend.

Car Club Executive, Sandeep Prakash says the interest in the sport is growing which is a reason for the increase in turnout.

“We had a very good turnout. We had more than 800 people as spectators and more than 40 cars that participated out of which 60 percent is from the west. It was a great turnout from the west. The drivers in the West always complaint that they are left behind but this time they came and did wonders for us.”

Meanwhile, attractive prices will be up for grabs at the race which starts at 10am on Sunday at the Nanuku airstrip in Pacific Harbour.
