The Fiji Bowling team is gearing up towards the World Bowling Championships in New Zealand next year.

After a strong finish at the Asia/Pacific Championships in New Zealand last month, team manager Curtis Mar says the squad is aiming for a podium finish against the best players in the world.

“As far as the National Association is concerned, we need to start the ground work for 2016 World Bowls. We want to make sure that the team is very well prepared; obviously we would like to win medals. We have won medals at this level for the last decades.”
