The Fiji Pearls have beaten Barbados 48-37 in their tier two match at the World Netball Championships underway in Australia.
Fiji was pushed to the wire in the first quarter and both teams were tied 10-all, before the Pearls won the second quarter 13-9, and also took out the third quarter, 14-3.
Barbados won the last quarter 15-11 but it was to no avail.

Fiji now plays Scotland tomorrow in its pool, before the play-off matches are decided.
