The Fiji Airways men’s 7s team went through its last training run at Prince Charles Park in Nadi this afternoon.
Coach Gareth Baber says the team had two training runs including a session against a local sevens team this morning.
“We have been here for a day today before we fly out tonight. We trained this morning against a local side and then we trained again with ourselves and it started to rain which is the first time I have actually been up in Nadi when it’s raining.”
The Fiji 7s team leaves for Las Vegas today.
The side begins its campaign against Russia at 12.06pm next Saturday.
They then play France at 3.07pm and faces Kenya in their last pool match at 8.36am next Sunday.
The quarterfinal kicks off on 1.26pm on Sunday, while the semi-final begins at 9.12am on Monday the 5th of March and the final is secluded for 12.30pm.
