Vodafone Fiji 7s Coach Ben Ryan says the team will have to improve their performance in the Cup Quarterfinal against Wales, today.
Ryan adds they will not take the Welsh team lightly.
“Make sure that we don’t slip up in that quarterfinal against the Welsh team that have… you know Wales and Fiji in the past, we’ve slipped up a few times against Wales and they are a good side and I’m expecting a very tough game.”
Fiji will take on Wales at 1.10pm in the Cup Quarterfinal after defeating Australia 35-12, last night.
In other cup quarterfinals New Zealand will take on England at 12.48pm, Argentina will take on Samoa at 1.32pm while South Africa takes on host Australia at 1.54pm.
Meanwhile in the Bowl Quarterfinals, France defeated Canada 21-19. Scotland defeated American Samoa 24-12, United States defeated Japan 26-5 and Portugal defeated Kenya 19-17.
The cup semi final is expected to take place at 4.53pm and the final at 7.49pm, tonight.
