The Fiji Airways men’s 7s team received a timely boost after Fiji Water handed over a cheque of $50,000 to the Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum.

This is part of their three-year sponsorship for the national team.

Fiji Water’s Global President, Elizabeth Stephenson says the company will be giving the team $50,000 a year for the next three years.

The Attorney General who received the sponsorship on behalf of the Fiji Rugby Union President Voreqe Bainimarama has wished the national team ahead of the World Cup.

“We wish the Fijian rugby team all the best and we look forward to them winning the cup for the world cup rugby.”

Fiji will take on either Uruguay or Japan in their first match World Cup match Saturday week.
