Experienced players will lead Fijiana 15s team

February 14, 2020 5:30 am
Fijiana 15s

Fijiana 15s stalwarts’ skipper Sereima Leweniqila, Rusila Nagasau, Priscilla Siata and Lavenia Tinai are set guide the team through as they head for their two-match tour to Australia on Sunday.

Given that majority of the players in the squad played together last November in the World Cup Qualifying tournament, Coach Alifereti Doviverata says the players have very good combination.

Fijiana departs for Brisbane today.

He adds, the six weeks training have given ample time for the Fijiana 7s players to gel in well with the squad.

Fiji will play Queensland Reds this Sunday at 5pm in Brisbane and will take on the New South Wales Waratahs next Friday at 7.30pm in Sydney.

This two-math tour is part of the side’s build up to next year’s Rugby World Cup.
