Expect a good turnout at BOG this week

Fiji Football is expecting a good turnout when the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants hits Churchill Park this Thursday.

CEO Bob Kumar says the 90 minute BOG has become exciting and he is sure fans would want to see their teams make it through.

“We are expecting a good turnout. It has become exciting. Some teams will have to fight tooth and nail to survive. Rewa lost its first game, now they will face Ba, similarly Suva.”

Kumar says to ensure players don’t get fatigued, 22 players have been registered.

“Teams have extra players they can use them In the national league, teams played two games over the weekend and with the BOG there is only one game per day.”

Navua faces Suva at 2pm at Churchill Park on Thursday.

At 4pm Labasa plays Nadroga.

At 6.30pm after the official opening, Rewa takes on Ba and in the final game, pool toppers Lautoka and Nadi face-off.
