England through to RLWC final after beating Tonga

England survived a revived Tongan attack 20-18 in the last ten minutes of the second semi-final of the Rugby League World Cup in Auckland New Zealand.

Thirty thousand fans gathered at the Auckland’s Mount Smart Stadium to witness the historic match between the two rivals.

Tonga was scoreless in the 67th minute of play with England leading 20-0.

With only seven minutes to play, Tonga gave in all they had scoring three tries in five minutes.

Unfortunately for Taumalolo, for a knock on in the last play of the game just five meters from the try line.

England will now take on Australia in the final of the 2017 Rugby League World cup next week.
