England 7s coach Simon Amor has named a powerful and experienced squad for the World Cup in the USA next weekend.

The squad includes 10 bronze medallists from the recent Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and six players who represented Team Great Britain at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, where they secured silver.

Tom Mitchell will captain the team and will be assisted by experienced players like Mike Ellery, Dan Norton and James Rodwell.

The World Cup will be held from next Saturday to Monday in San Francisco, USA.
