A total of eighteen swimmers will be selected to represent Fiji in the Oceania Championship next month.

Fiji Swimming coach, Sharon Pickering says they will name a young side for the championship in Papua New Guinea.

“Just keep training hard, prepare ourselves so we are going to build up for the next six weeks leading up to the games. Some of them will be participating for the schools on the 1st and 2nd of June, so they’ve got another competition just to get used to the whole racing again and the other just have to continue their intensive training and prepare themselves well.”

The final squad will be announced by the end of next week.
