Effects of Winston weighs on Fiji 7s team

Players of the Vodafone Fiji 7s team will not settle for anything less than a win at the Las Vegas 7s for the victims of the recent Tropical Cyclone Winston.

Vodafone Fiji 7s Captain, Osea Kolinisau says they have been saddened by the tragedy of the nation and at the same time motivated to do better from the first leg of the World Sevens Series.

“Our prayers are with the victims of Winston and we will play in this two tournaments with the victims of Winston in our hearts and in our minds.”

Kolinisau adds some of the players also lost their belongings to the Tropical Cyclone Winston last week but have continued to persevere in team’s training.

He also says the players are aware of the tough competition ahead and belives they are well prepared.

Fiji is pooled with Argentina, France and Samoa at the Las Vegas 7s which starts this weekend.
