Dyer secures AFL contract in Australia

Fiji’s Australian Football League Player William Dyer has been offered a contract to play for a club in Japan.

Dyer picked up the sport last year and since has been showcasing his skills which has landed him a contract.

Dyer says playing in AFL makes up for all the opportunity he did not get in rugby.

He says the encouragement from the AFL management has enabled him to secure a contract with a club in Japan.

Dyer says “the sport has paved his career path which will allow him to help his family in return.”

He is expected to leave the country later this week.
