Countdown to Fiji-Wales clash

October 1, 2015 4:14 am

The Vodafone Flying Fijians will be hoping that wing Timoci Nagusa brings his try scoring game in the Rugby World Cup match against Wales tomorrow.

Nagusa, who was called up last week to the team to replace the injured Waisea Nayacalevu, is currently the leading try scorer in the France T14 with four touchdowns in as many matches for Montpellier.

He was also the top try scorer in the 2011/2012 season with 11 tries and has been the top try scorer for his club four times.

Also, skipper Akapusi Qera and hooker Sunia Koto play Wales for a record fifth time equaling the record for a Fijian set by Seremaia Bai.

Koto is also the first Fijian front row forward to play at three different Rugby World Cups.

Prop Mansa Saulo is the only player to have been selected in all of Fiji’s 15 matches under current head coach John McKee, starting every time.

Has been starting tight-head prop in Fiji’s last 16 internationals, after playing in his first 10 test matches as a replacement prop.

Wales will host the Flying Fijians at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff at 3:45am tomorrow and you can watch it live on FBC TV.
