Changes expected in Flying Fijians squad

July 6, 2017 4:10 am

Vodafone Flying Fijians coach John McKee expects to make few positional changes to his run on side to face Tonga on Saturday.

McKee is likely to pull skipper Akapusi Qera back on the flanks while Nemani Nagusa could get his second start for the side.

Olympic gold medalist Viliame Mata is also expected to be named on the bench.
McKee says the inclusion of the prop Campese Ma’afu will also strengthen the side’s front row.

“It good to have Campese {Ma’afu} to be back in the team particularly playing against Tonga so Campese has trained very well and is looking forward to the game against Tonga on Saturday.”
