The Oceania Athletics Association has come on board with FASANOC for the Olympic Day Run this Friday.

Olympic Day Run participants will have special bibs which will make it easy to identify runners at the finish line.

Association President Geoff Gardner says they hope people turn up in big numbers and make use of the day.

“This is the first time the Olympic Day Run will be professionally set-up. Oceania is really proud to assist with the bibs the competitors will wear for the Olympic day Run.”

Participants and the wider community are encouraged to take part in games organised by ten different national federations.

The Olympic Day Run will be held on Friday at Albert Park in Suva and Churchill Park in Lautoka.
