Bati players visit hospital

The Australian based Bati players battled a different challenge today, visiting the children’s ward at CWM hospital.

With only a day of preparation left before the Battle of the Bati, the overseas based team are hoping to bring smile and joy to the children’s in the hospital.

The London Broncos second rower Junior Roqica, says the short visit will boost their performance in the competition.

“I hope, the boys and I gave a little hope to the kids and when we represent Fiji in rugby league, we sure are representing them and some of us boys have a soft spot, so this week we will play for those kids.”

The Battle of the Bati will kick-off at 3pm, Saturday at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
