The Ba football side defeated Dreketi 1-nil at the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament at Subrail Park.
Ba’s only goal came late in the first spell to Remuera Takiate.
The win sees Ba move to four points while Dreketi is the first team out of the tournament.
Ba plays Lautoka in the last pool match and Team Manager, Arvin Singh says, they’re looking forward to playing against the Blues.
”Well I had said that we will come out a strong team. We will take this win and go back to the drawing boards for the match against Lautoka tomorrow. They’re an experienced side and we have plenty young players. It will be a good game.”
Nadi takes on Suva at 2pm, Labasa plays on Rakiraki at 4pm while Lautoka battles Rewa at 6pm.
