Back to business for Fiji footballers

May 21, 2012 12:43 am

It’s back to business for the Fiji football team who have six days remaining before going to compete in the OFC Nations Cup in the Solomon Islands.

National coaching director, Carlos Buzzetti says it will be an uphill battle for the team and he hopes experience and skills will make up for Fiji being one of the less fit teams in the tournament.

“Fitness is essential when you going to play for world cup qualification mainly against teams like New Zealand, the Solomon Islands and PNG they will be very well prepared. One way or another you lose in some ways and you win on others and the main thing is we don’t have any injuries. So that is what is going to be done today its recovery time in every possible way, check up, beach, recover and then we will see how things are tomorrow with a proper training session.”
