The host Lautoka football side has been bundled out of the Inkk Mobile Battle of Giants after failing to secure enough goals in its final group match against Ba.

Despite a 2-nil win over the Men In Black, Lautoka were cut shot in the goal difference which saw Ba and Labasa qualify to the semifinal from the group.
In the other group Suva tops its pool with three points and a better goal difference while Nadi finished second.

In the semifinal next Saturday Suva will face Labasa while Ba takes on Nadi.
Ba coach Ronil Kumar says they need to work on their game plan and come stronger next weekend.

“We got a lesson to be learnt here in this game like we were playing under pressure against Lautoka. We were defending so semi-final will be more pressure on the players. I have learnt a lot so I’m going to teach my players how to handle the pressure.”

In the first semi-final at 2pm next Saturday, Suva plays Labasa and in the second semi at 4pm Ba faces Nadi at Churchill Park.
The final is scheduled at 3pm on Sunday.
