The side thumped Nadroga 5-0 in their opening match before accounting for Navua 3-1.

Hosts Labasa also made a winning start defeating Savusavu 3-0.

In other results Dreketi defeated Seaqaqa 2-nil, Navosa lost to Nasinu 1-nil, Rewa beat Northwest Nadroga 3-nil while Bua defeated Tailevu 2-nil.

In the Under-12 grade, Ba and Seaqaqa played to a 1-all draw, Rewa upset Nadi 1-nil, Nadroga defeated Navua 3-nil while Seaqaqa beat rewa 3-1.
