Ba and Labasa look good on first day of Primary Schools IDC

Competition is expected to get tougher as teams vie for knock out places at the 40th Bongo Primary Schools Inter District Championships in Labasa.

Defending champions in the under 14 grade Ba look good to defend the title registering two wins yesterday against Nadroga 5-0 and Navua 3-1 respectively.

In other results from yesterday, hosts Labasa also made a winning start defeating Savusavu 3-0.

Dreketi defeated Seaqaqa 2-nil, Navosa lost to Nasinu 1-nil, Rewa beat Northwest Nadroga 3-nil while Bua defeated Tailevu 2-nil.

In the under 12 grade, Ba and Seaqaqa played to a 1-all draw, Rewa upset Nadi 1-nil, Nadroga defeated Navua 3-nil while Seaqaqa beat Rewa 3-1.

Pool matches continue at Gurunanak Primary School Grounds from this morning.
