The Australia rugby team is looking forward to winning its first Sydney 7s tournament next weekend.

Coach Andy Friend says the Australians are long overdue for a win in the World Rugby Sevens.

Friend says winning a title in Sydney will be a good bench mark for the players.

“The boys have they believe they can win. We now should turn those wins on the World Rugby Sevens Series circuit and Commonwealth Games so that our target.”

Australia is grouped with Canada, USA, and Scotland.
