Mudreilagi continues to impress

Nemani Mudreilagi continues to burn the ANZ Stadium tracks with his impressive showing at the Coca Cola Games underway in Suva.

The Natabua High School sprinter star clicked the fastest time in the 200m senior boy’s heats, in a time of 22.22 seconds.

He also clocked the fastest time in the 100m senior boy’s heats yesterday and will start as the top bet in the final this afternoon.

For the 200m final, his challenge will come from Ratu Kadavulevu School’s Kolinio Radrudru, who clocked 22.24sec, while Atunaisa Satala, managed 22.42seconds.

Others in the final will be Rusiate Katonitabua of Yat Sen, Suva Grammar’s Darcy Commick, Viliame Rekitilako of Marist and Lawrence Rayawa of RKS.

In the girl’s grade, Adi Cakobau School’s Serenia Ragatu was the fastest in 25.53sec, follows by Jasper William runner, Vika Bavui, who clocked 26.49sec.

Fugawai Uluiviti of Adi Moapa was the third fastest in the heats in 27.35sec.

Join them in the final will be Salote Baravilala of Jasper, Aluisa Ralogaivau of Dudley, Titilia Dibeca of Seaqaqa Central and Sera Bolatini of Assemblies of God.

They will be joined by Asilika Gasau of SJS.

The 200m finals will be held tomorrow from 9.50am.
