The Central, Northern and Western Divisions will this year merge to compete at the National Chow Games.

The Chow Games will be held at the ANZ National Stadium in Suva from the 15th of November to the 16th this year.

President of the Fiji Primary Schools Athletics Association, Patrick Bower says that last year the Association intended to have the whole of Fiji converge at the ANZ Stadium for the finals of the divisions however the plan is now in fruition.

He says this included all the districts in the West, North and Central divisions.

Bower says it was then decided to be held in Taveuni which was a huge success.

“Interestingly enough what came out of that difficulty is that, we looked at it positively, we were very disappointed but if you move ahead and say okay we have a problem here what can we do, to resolve it. By this stage we didn’t have any grounds to hire to stage the games in the north.”
