AFL Fiji still needs more financial assistance as they prepare for the International Cup next month in Melbourne Australia.

Coach Simon Highfield says despite the assistance from the government, they still trying to dig deep for funds to cater for both the men’s and the women’s team.

“We’re still shorts in our accommodation bills, our visas and other little things and the player’s and they’re doing a fantastic job in coming on training and wearing their own clothes and we really want to get them some training gears."

Highfield is calling on for assistance from various businesses and stakeholders to come and support them.

The International Cup will be held from the 5th to the 19th of next month.
